A-Levels may be scrapped (still... or is it again?)

This issue seems to have been going on forever, we probably still don't know what is actually going to happen. However I heard an interesting news report on Radio 4's PM that discussed the issue. All the more interesting, considering that I thought the Tomlinson Report was not considered all that credible.
